This step stool serves my needs perfectly as both a sitting stool near my shower door, and a step stool for my closet shelves and bathroom cupboards. It is both sturdy and a beautiful piece of furniture. The dark brown color complements my bathroom very well, and I feel safe on the steps. It's size is just right for a small space.

Nice stool! I bought it for kitchen use.
Looks good enough to leave sitting in the corner.
I also like that it can be used as extra seating when needed.
The color was a bit lighter and more red/cherry than in the picture.
Assembly was easy, but there were two screws that didn't line up properly. NOTE: You will need a skinny/long screwdriver for assembly. I have the type that has interchangeable heads, and it was too wide to fit the openings.
