Maco Lifestyles purchased Maco Furniture after 20 years of business in Clackamas, OR. Maco Furniture spent it’s years building quality solid alder and pine furniture, and left behind a legacy. Unfortunately, this closure left a huge void in the market place as more manufacturers are using veneers, and particleboard, etc. in furniture construction. Luckily with the expertise of Maco’s former plant manager, Paul Fuerstenau, Maco Furniture’s excellent solid wood (No Veneer) construction has been redesigned and reconstructed with the following improvements: All of their furniture is finished in a 3-coat clear satin finish. Aromatic cedar is used on all Alder drawer bottoms. 100 lb. side mounted ball bearing slides used exclusively on all Alder products. English Dovetail joints used on all drawers for both Pine and Alder product lines. Maco Lifestyle’s pine is Royal Eastern Asia white pine and is graded exclusively for Maco Lifestyles providing a clear, clean look. Solid chest bottoms are used for both Alder and Pine. Center support on drawers 26” or more. NO face nails.
