Although this item would have filled a need in a lake side home it failed to do so in that the manufacturing process appears to lack quality control.

This product is designed to be partially assembled by the purchaser.

The three post sections of this lamp are designed to be screwed together. Unfortunately the sections are prewired and one section was prewired in an upside down or reversed position. This caused me to strip the lamp of its wiring to reposition the reversed post section.

Upon rewiring the post section and installing the completed post it was noted the post once firmly seated in the lamp base rests at a cocked angle to the base. In other words the post appears crooked. An inspection of the base indicates the base the post rests on is itself crooked and not adjustable.

When rewiring the actual lamp bulb holder you will note it is made of plastic. One of the two wire attachments was stripped.

Give due consideration before purchasing this item. My lamp now sits in the corner of the garage.
