We think the quality of workmanship is very good, especially for the price. However, the photo of the Alder wood is a bit darker than the actual product. Granted it's difficult to know what shade of color something looks like on the computer screen. However, we thought it would go well with our Cherry bed and nightstand as it appeared close in color. Now we're not so sure.
