This table base was well constructed; packaging was well assembled with parts marked. Put together it made a handsome coffee table base and did not look cheap. I could have used step-by-step assembly instructions, but did manage to work it out easily enough. It wasn't rocket science. I'd recommend this product at the sale price, but don't think it's worth the full price.
